Some of our
first Hybrid
offspring to
be born and
rasied at
Lost
Valley Farm
In
August 2006 we received correspondence
by email from Luxor Creek Outfitters out
of British Columbia, Canada. They were
interested in 2 yearlings and 2 weanlings
by our Jack "Lost Valley Leon".
These well bred, hand raised foals are
going to be between 13-14hhs due to the
dams size and will be great for packing
and riding mounts for their game and hunting
business. These type of quality &
size mules are hard to find in Canada.
In October we closed the sale and arranged
to meet the couple close to the Canada
border in Rapid Springs, South Dakota.
We made reservations at a great place,
Cozy Cabin Bed/Breakfast & Stable
& very gracious owners Bob & Deb
Farrar in Rapid Springs. The babies had
wonderful shelter and grazing access once
we arrived at Rapid Springs. Doug &
Cheryl of Luxor Creek met us at the bed
& breakfast to pickup their new family
members. As excited as they were to have
them, we were excited (yet very sad) to
see our first4 babies ever to be sold,
go to a really great home.

Lilly ~
Lilly is a grade
5 yr old, 14.2
hh, paint mare.
She was sold
bred to our
late sire
"Lost Valley
Leon"and
to be bred back
to Leon. Larry
Marchant, one
of most
pleasant customers
had desperately
tried to keep
one of his mare
in foal to Leon",
with
no luck. We
foaled Lilly
April 2006.
She had a fine
John colt "CHIP",
brown/black
with white
on 3 of his
feet. We bred
Lilly back to
Leon before
Larry picked
up his 3 in
1 package.
Lilly is expecting
again to our
late sire Leon
in April 2007
for Lillys second
foal.
